Write an animation script that communicates a complex talent development programme to a global audience.
To make sure that the story was aligned with the talent programme’s activities, culture and philosophies, we ran a storytelling workshop with the client to explore content, messages and narrative frameworks. This co-creative process was not only a lot of fun, it also helped us to quickly understand story structure, timing of key messages and the voice and character of the narrator.
The final script was based on the twists and turns of the hero’s journey plot structure. As the animation was reaching out to a global audience to explain a new way of managing talent, the tone was warm and direct, with the bulk of ideas being communicated visually rather than verbally. The result was an animate that was a knowledge companion - fun to be around, inspiring and insightful.
